Wendy R. Boswell is a Professor of Management in the Mays Business School, Texas A&M University and holder of the Jerry and Kay Cox Endowed Chair in Business. She is also the Coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Management at Texas A&M.
Professor Boswell received her BS in Business Administration from California State University, Fresno and her Masters and Ph.D. from the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University. Her research, which has appeared in many scholarly journals, focuses on employee attraction and retention, job search behavior, workplace conflict, and the work-nonwork interface.
She serves on several editorial boards and is currently an associate editor for Personnel Psychology. She served as the 2012-13 Chair of the HR Division, Academy of Management and was the Director of the Center for Human Resource Management at Texas A&M from 2005-2011.
Professor Boswell teaches courses on human resource management at the undergraduate, graduate (masters and doctoral) and executive levels, and was the recipient of the 2004 Center for Teaching Excellence Montague Scholar Award.
